What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee has the flexibility to add a menu item specific to their geographic area, provided it complies with Burros Fries's standards as specified in the Operations Manual. This is not a mandatory change to the system for all franchisees, but rather an option available to individual franchisees. The franchisee must obtain written approval from Burros Fries to implement such a menu item.
Burros Fries will respond to the franchisee's request within thirty (30) days of receiving it, via email or other written communication. As part of the approval process, Burros Fries has the right to request all materials and supporting documentation describing the proposed menu item. The franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with this investigation for approval, if applicable.
Burros Fries retains the right to revoke approval of the menu item at its sole discretion. This process allows franchisees to cater to local tastes and preferences while maintaining the brand's overall standards and operational consistency. It also gives Burros Fries control over the menu and ensures that any additions align with their brand image and quality standards.
