What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, additional training for new managers is available at the franchisee's request. Burros Fries may require an Additional Training Fee of up to $300 per ½ day per person for this training.
Beyond the training fee, the franchisee is responsible for all costs related to attending the training, including travel, room, and board for the new manager. Burros Fries also retains the right to mandate that franchisees and their managers complete refresher training programs at their corporate headquarters, which may incur additional costs.
Burros Fries also offers refresher and continuing education meetings, expected to be at their headquarters, with a fee of $300 per person per ½ day, plus variable expenses. Burros Fries reserves the right to increase this per-day fee based on reasonable criteria. Franchisees are also responsible for the transportation, room and board, and miscellaneous expenses incurred by Burros Fries personnel during on-site visits, should they be deemed necessary.
