What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to the standards and specifications established by Burros Fries regarding recipes. These standards and specifications are periodically updated by Burros Fries. Franchisees must operate in strict compliance with the methods, standards, and specifications prescribed in the Operations Manual or in writing.

Burros Fries may change these standards and specifications based on experience or changes in the marketplace, and will communicate these changes to all franchisees. Franchisees are required to use only the products, supplies, and kitchen equipment that meet Burros Fries' standards and specifications.

This means a prospective Burros Fries franchisee has to follow the brand's recipes exactly as they are outlined in the operations manual or other written communications. Burros Fries retains the right to modify these recipes and franchisees are obligated to implement those changes. This ensures consistency across all Burros Fries locations, but it also means franchisees have limited flexibility in customizing their menu or experimenting with new recipes without prior approval from the franchisor.
