What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use only approved vendors for various services, including merchant services. This requirement is part of maintaining the standards, processes, methods, and technology used in the Burros Fries business operation.
This means a franchisee cannot choose their own merchant services provider but must select from a list approved by Burros Fries. The approved vendors list may include providers of ingredients, supplies, kitchen equipment, technology items, software, printed menus, signage, uniforms, professional laundry services, and POS and technology support services.
Burros Fries may receive income from approved vendors through license fees, promotional fees, advertising allowances, rebates, or other monies. The franchisor has the discretion to determine how to use these payments. Burros Fries retains the right to add, modify, or change the approved products, supplies, kitchen equipment, vendors, and suppliers periodically.
Franchisees must promptly accept and implement these changes at their own expense. Failure to use approved vendors and/or supplies may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.
