What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, during on-site visits, the franchisor may advise franchisees on various aspects of customer service. These visits, which Burros Fries deems necessary and at their discretion, cover a range of topics related to the business's operation.

Specifically, the on-site assistance includes advising on food preparation, menu items, products, services, kitchen equipment operation, and customer service itself. Furthermore, the franchisor will provide guidance on operational, sales, and marketing matters, as well as personnel issues related to the Burros Fries business. This suggests a comprehensive approach to supporting franchisees in all areas critical to running the restaurant effectively.

However, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with these visits, including transportation, room and board, and other miscellaneous expenses incurred by the franchisor's personnel. The visits will occur according to the terms outlined in the Franchise Agreement or at the franchisee's request, but the timing and dates are ultimately selected by Burros Fries. This financial responsibility is a crucial consideration for prospective franchisees, as it adds to the overall cost of operating the franchise.
