Each restaurant offers a wide variety of food made from fresh meat, fish, and vegetables using fresh ingredients incorporating our proprietary sauces and recipes all of which is complimented by side dishes and beverages. The market for our type of food is developed and highly competitive, as is the market for obtaining locations in qualified shopping centers, malls, free-standing structures, or other similar buildings with drive through structure and a captive market customer base. Generally, there is no seasonality to this business. The restaurant industry in general is highly competitive throughout the United States as the market is continuously changing and evolving.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, proprietary sauces and recipes are central to the Burros Fries business model. Each Burros Fries restaurant offers a variety of food made from fresh ingredients, incorporating the brand's unique sauces and recipes. These recipes and sauces are used in the preparation of fresh meat, fish, and vegetables. The use of these proprietary items contributes to the quality and uniformity of menu items.
The FDD emphasizes that Burros Fries businesses are distinguished by several key elements, including menu items prepared fresh using proprietary sauces and recipes. These recipes and sauces, along with specific food preparation techniques, procedures, and methods, are part of the overall system that franchisees must adhere to. This system also includes the distinctive exterior and interior layout, décor, color scheme, display signs, furnishings, food presentation standards, and procedures for sanitation.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that following the brand's recipes and using their proprietary sauces is not optional but a mandatory part of operating a Burros Fries franchise. This ensures that customers receive a consistent product across all locations, maintaining the brand's reputation and quality standards. The franchisee will be trained in these specific food preparation techniques and will be expected to maintain these standards.
