What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries has the authority to disapprove or revoke approval of any vendor at any time. This ensures that all vendors and suppliers meet the franchisor's standards.

Specifically, Burros Fries reserves the right to reinspect the facilities and retest the products or kitchen equipment of any approved vendor. If a vendor fails to continue meeting the high standards set by Burros Fries, the franchisor can revoke the approval. This clause protects the brand's quality and consistency across all franchise locations.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that while they are generally required to use approved vendors, Burros Fries actively monitors these vendors. If a previously approved vendor's performance or quality declines, Burros Fries can remove them from the approved list. This helps maintain the standards of products and services offered at each Burros Fries location. Franchisees also have the option to request approval for unapproved vendors, but Burros Fries has the discretion to approve or deny these requests.

This ability to revoke approval provides Burros Fries with a mechanism to maintain quality control and protect its brand reputation. It also means that franchisees must stay informed of any changes to the approved vendor list and be prepared to switch vendors if required by the franchisor. Franchisees should maintain open communication with Burros Fries regarding vendor performance to ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
