What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the delivery and installation of specified items. Burros Fries will provide the written specifications for the necessary items, but the franchisee is responsible for the actual delivery and installation.
This means that a new Burros Fries franchisee will need to manage the logistics of getting all required equipment and supplies to their location and ensuring they are properly installed. This responsibility includes covering the costs associated with delivery and installation.
The franchisee is required to either lease or purchase these items from Burros Fries, its affiliates, or approved vendors. This ensures that the franchisee uses equipment and supplies that meet Burros Fries's standards, but it also means the franchisee must factor in these delivery and installation costs when budgeting for the initial setup of their franchise.
Burros Fries also provides training on strategies for leasing and purchasing these items, which could help franchisees make informed decisions about managing these costs. Additionally, the Operations Manual includes a section on Approved Kitchen Equipment & Specs, which can further guide franchisees in selecting and installing the necessary equipment.
