What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries does reserve the right to increase the per day fee for refresher meetings. Specifically, Burros Fries may provide refresher and/or continuing education meetings at designated locations, expected to be their headquarters, with a fee of $300 per person per ½ day, in addition to the franchisee's expenses.
Burros Fries retains the right to increase this per day fee by a reasonable amount based on reasonable criteria. This means that while the initial fee is set at $300 per half day, franchisees should be aware that this cost could increase during the term of their franchise agreement.
As a prospective franchisee, it would be prudent to inquire about the specific criteria that Burros Fries will use to determine any fee increases, as well as the historical frequency and magnitude of such increases. Understanding these factors will help in accurately forecasting the costs associated with ongoing training and education throughout the franchise term.
