We reserve the right to implement a centralized purchasing system for franchisees and to negotiate prices and terms with vendors and suppliers and to receive rebates or other financial incentives from such purchases by franchisees. What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries retains the right to establish a centralized purchasing system for its franchisees. This includes the ability to negotiate prices and terms with vendors and suppliers. Furthermore, Burros Fries may receive rebates or other financial incentives from franchisee purchases made through this system.

Burros Fries has the discretion to utilize any rebated funds as they see fit, as detailed in Section 10 B of the agreement. This means that while franchisees may benefit from potentially lower prices through a centralized system, Burros Fries has control over any additional financial benefits derived from these purchasing arrangements.

This type of centralized purchasing system is relatively common in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain quality control and potentially increase profitability through negotiated vendor agreements. However, it's important for prospective Burros Fries franchisees to understand that they may be required to purchase goods through this system and that Burros Fries benefits financially from these arrangements.
