What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for ensuring their staff adheres to the Franchise Agreement. This includes maintaining the confidentiality of the Burros Fries' operational methods and trade secrets, which are detailed in their materials and Operations Manuals. Franchisees can only disclose this confidential information to employees, agents, and representatives who need it to operate the business.
Burros Fries provides ongoing support and training to franchisees and their staff through phone and email during regular business hours (Pacific Standard Time). This support system aims to help franchisees address any questions or issues that may arise. Additionally, Burros Fries will provide updates to approved products and services, manual specifications, and marketing and operational updates as they become available.
In practical terms, a prospective Burros Fries franchisee must commit to training their staff on the brand's specific food preparation methods, product knowledge, kitchen equipment operation, safety procedures, and the use of the POS system. They must also ensure their staff understands and adheres to the brand's standards for food presentation, cost and pricing strategies, and record-keeping procedures. The franchisee is responsible for implementing security procedures to protect confidential information, including having employees execute and deliver necessary documents to Burros Fries.
