What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries may require its vendors and/or suppliers to guarantee a certain level of quality. Specifically, Burros Fries may ask vendors and suppliers to provide certain information, sign a non-disclosure agreement, and agree to guarantee their level of quality. Additionally, vendors may need to produce sufficient samples for Burros Fries to test at the franchisee's expense.
Burros Fries has the right to disapprove any product, piece of kitchen equipment, and/or supply sources that are not on their approved vendor list. Franchisees are prohibited from using, offering, or selling any product, piece of kitchen equipment, service, vendor, or supplier not authorized by Burros Fries. This ensures that all franchisees maintain consistent quality and standards across all locations.
Burros Fries bases its approval of vendors and suppliers on several factors, including demand, relevance to the system, price, value, quality, reliability, accuracy of product claims, safety, warranty, prompt attention to complaints, financial stability, litigation against the supplier, recall history, reputation, frequency of delivery, appearance, and contributions or other benefits to Burros Fries and/or any marketing fund. These specifications may be found in the Operations Manual or in periodic written notices to franchisees. This comprehensive evaluation process aims to ensure that only vendors who meet Burros Fries's stringent standards are approved, thereby safeguarding the brand's reputation and customer experience.
