Answer from 2024 FDD Document

We may require vendors and/or suppliers to provide certain information, sign a nondisclosure agreement, and agree to guarantee our level of quality and produce sufficient samples to allow us to test the sample at your expense. We may require you to submit to us sufficient specifications, photographs, drawings or other information and samples to determine whether the items meet our specifications. There is a product, vendor and equipment assessment fee for supplier approval, and we may require third-party testing, in which case you will pay the actual cost of the tests as described in Item 6.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, vendors and suppliers may be required to provide certain information to Burros Fries. This includes signing a nondisclosure agreement to protect confidential information and guaranteeing a certain level of quality for their products or services. Additionally, Burros Fries may require vendors and suppliers to produce sufficient samples of their products, which Burros Fries can then test at the franchisee's expense.

Burros Fries also has the right to request specifications, photographs, drawings, or other information and samples from franchisees to determine if the items meet their standards. There is a product, vendor, and equipment assessment fee for supplier approval. Burros Fries may also require third-party testing, with the franchisee bearing the actual cost of the tests as detailed in Item 6 of the FDD.

These requirements ensure that Burros Fries maintains consistent quality and standards across all franchise locations. By mandating specific information, agreements, and testing, Burros Fries aims to control the quality of products and services used in its businesses. This also allows Burros Fries to protect its proprietary information and ensure that all suppliers meet their standards before being approved.
