What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use only approved vendors and suppliers for various services necessary for operating the business. These mandated services include professional laundry services, merchant services, and POS (Point of Sale) and technology support services. This requirement ensures that franchisees maintain the standards, processes, and technology that Burros Fries has established.

The FDD emphasizes that franchisees must lease or purchase all required services from Burros Fries, its affiliates, or approved vendors. These vendors must consistently meet the franchisor's standards and specifications. Burros Fries retains the right to add, modify, or change the approved vendors and services periodically, and franchisees are obligated to implement these changes at their own expense.

Burros Fries may consider factors such as price, quality, service maintenance programs, and the vendor's financial strength when approving vendors. Franchisees are prohibited from using unapproved vendors without written consent from Burros Fries, and failure to comply may result in termination of the franchise agreement. This system allows Burros Fries to maintain quality control and uniformity across all franchise locations, while also potentially generating income for the franchisor through fees or rebates from approved vendors.
