What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries reserves the right to increase the per day fee for refresher meetings. The standard fee for refresher and continuing education meetings is $300 per person per ½ day, plus the franchisee's expenses. These meetings are expected to be held at Burros Fries' headquarters.
Burros Fries retains the authority to raise this per day fee. However, any increase must be reasonable and based on reasonable criteria. This implies that the increase must be justified by actual cost increases incurred by Burros Fries in providing the training.
As a prospective franchisee, it would be prudent to inquire with Burros Fries about the specific criteria they use to determine reasonable cost increases and how they communicate these changes to franchisees. Understanding the factors that could lead to fee increases will help in financial planning and assessing the overall cost of operating a Burros Fries franchise.
