What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries has the right to modify or change approved products, supplies, kitchen equipment, vendors, and suppliers. The franchisee is responsible for promptly accepting and implementing these changes at their own expense. This means that Burros Fries franchisees must adapt to changes Burros Fries makes to its system.
This requirement extends to various aspects of the business, including ingredients, supplies, equipment, and vendors. Burros Fries does not specify any limitations to its right to make these changes. Franchisees bear the financial burden of these modifications, which could include the cost of new equipment, supplies, or vendor transitions.
While Burros Fries retains the discretion to modify the system, the FDD does not explicitly state whether Burros Fries assumes any liability for potential financial losses or disruptions franchisees may experience due to these changes. Prospective franchisees should seek clarification from Burros Fries regarding potential support or compensation in the event of significant system modifications that could adversely affect their business operations.
