If you or your partners, members, managers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or independent contractors develop any new piece of equipment, product, recipe, formula, concept, technique, process, photographs, video presentations, promotions, program or improvement in the operation or promotion of your Business, you are required to promptly notify us with all necessary related information, without compensation. What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, while franchisees are required to promptly notify Burros Fries of any improvements they develop to the system without compensation, Burros Fries may, as a matter of corporate policy, create an incentive program to reward franchisees for improvements that are implemented throughout the Burros Fries system. These improvements can include new equipment, products, recipes, formulas, concepts, techniques, processes, photographs, video presentations, promotions, or programs.

It is important to note that any such improvements become the property of Burros Fries, and Burros Fries may use or disclose this information to other franchisees as they deem appropriate. This means that while a franchisee may be rewarded for their innovation, they relinquish ownership of the idea to Burros Fries.

Prospective franchisees should inquire with Burros Fries about the specifics of any existing incentive programs, including the criteria for rewards, the types of rewards offered, and the process for submitting and evaluating improvement ideas. Understanding the details of this potential incentive program is crucial for franchisees who are interested in contributing to the system's development and potentially receiving recognition for their efforts.
