What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Burros Fries discontinues the management training for a franchisee's designated individual because they fail to demonstrate an understanding of the training, the franchisee has 30 days to present an alternative candidate for management training. This ensures that the franchisee has a chance to rectify the situation and maintain compliance with Burros Fries's training requirements.

If the new candidate also fails to adequately complete the management training, Burros Fries has the option to terminate the Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance of ensuring that the designated individual is capable of meeting Burros Fries's standards for management training. The franchisee bears the risk of potential termination if they cannot provide a suitable candidate.

The franchisee is responsible for all expenses related to the training programs, including transportation, lodging, meals, and wages for themselves, their owners, general manager, and any employees attending the training. This financial responsibility underscores the franchisee's investment in ensuring their personnel are properly trained and certified by Burros Fries.
