What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to offer only approved menu items and services. Specifically, Burros Fries mandates that franchisees sell only approved retail items as specified by them. These include a variety of sandwiches, plates, salads, side dishes, beverages like carbonated drinks, juices, teas, and bottled water. The approved services include counter service, take-out, and limited seating. Franchisees can also sell approved merchandise and other food and beverage products or services that Burros Fries expressly authorizes in writing, details in the Operations Manual, or develops with updates incorporated periodically into the Operations Manual.

Burros Fries requires all food and menu items to be prepared according to their recipes, standards, techniques, processes, and presentation. However, franchisees have some flexibility. They can add menu or retail items specific to their geographic area, provided these items comply with Burros Fries' standards, which are provided during the training program and detailed in the Operations Manual.

Franchisees can also offer additional services unique to their area to better integrate with the local community. However, they must obtain written approval from Burros Fries before offering such products, menu items, retail items, and services. Burros Fries will respond to these requests within thirty (30) days. Burros Fries may revoke approval if a product, menu item, retail item, or service does not adhere to their standards as specified in the Operations Manual. Burros Fries will notify franchisees of approvals, disapprovals, or revocations via email or other written communication. Franchisees must discontinue any product, menu item, retail item, or service that Burros Fries disapproves of in writing, regardless of whether it is currently in use.
