What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program for franchisees and their managers typically takes place at the Burros Fries corporate headquarters, unless the headquarters is moved. The FDD also mentions that refresher training or additional training programs may be furnished at the corporate headquarters.
Beyond the initial and refresher training, Burros Fries may also provide support and information through online franchise portals, phone, web-based seminars (webinars), video, or at locations designated by them, most likely their headquarters. Franchisees are responsible for all costs associated with attending these training opportunities, including travel, room, and board.
Additionally, Burros Fries may conduct an annual convention, most likely at their headquarters, where refresher and continuing education will be available. A registration fee for each participant may be required, but the franchisor will work in good faith to maintain it at their cost. Franchisees will be responsible for costs associated with attending the convention, such as travel, room, and board. The registration fee for conferences will not exceed $1,000 per person.
