What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, any changes to the addresses for sending notices must be communicated via written notice to the other party, providing a 15-day advance notification.

Notices delivered in person are considered given upon receipt. For notices sent via facsimile, telegram, or telex, they are deemed delivered upon transmission, provided confirmation is made. Notices sent through expedited delivery services or certified/registered mail are considered delivered three business days after mailing.

For a Burros Fries franchisee, this means that all official communications regarding the franchise agreement, such as address changes, must adhere to these specific methods to be considered valid. It is crucial to maintain records of confirmations, mailing dates, and receipts to ensure compliance with the agreement's notification terms. This ensures that both the franchisee and Burros Fries have a clear and documented understanding of when a notice is officially received, which can be important for legal and contractual purposes.
