What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the fees for quarterly meetings and the annual convention are based on the franchisor's current costs, which are subject to change. The document states that Burros Fries will conduct quarterly meetings or an annual convention at a location they designate, with fees that can change based on their costs.

Specifically, the FDD mentions that refresher or continuing education, other than by phone, webinars, or video, may have a registration charge that will not exceed $300 per person per ½ day. The registration fee for conferences will not exceed $1,000 per person. These fees may be increased based on the increase of actual costs incurred by Burros Fries. Franchisees are also responsible for costs associated with attending these programs, such as travel, room, and board.

This means that while Burros Fries aims to keep the registration fees at their cost, franchisees should be prepared for potential increases if the franchisor's expenses rise. Additionally, franchisees need to factor in their own travel and accommodation expenses when budgeting for these meetings and conventions. It is important to note that the location of these meetings is most likely at Burros Fries's headquarters.
