What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit any unapproved advertising and promotional materials to Burros Fries for approval at least thirty (30) days before the planned start date of the advertising. This submission can be made via personal delivery, electronically, or through the mail.

The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that all advertising aligns with Burros Fries's brand standards and operational guidelines. Burros Fries retains the discretion to approve or deny the franchisee's request within thirty (30) days of receipt, communicating their decision via email or other written means.

It is important to note that if Burros Fries fails to respond to the franchisee's submission within this thirty (30) day period, the advertising plans are automatically deemed unapproved. The franchisee is prohibited from using any unapproved advertising and must cease using any materials if requested by Burros Fries. This process allows Burros Fries to maintain control over its brand image and marketing strategies while allowing franchisees some flexibility in local advertising efforts.
