Answer from 2024 FDD Document

Prior to Franchisee's opening of the Business to the public, Franchisee, its Owners (if it is an Entity) and General Manager shall complete to our satisfaction the entire training program required by this Agreement within sixty (60) days of the date Franchisee anticipates opening the Business.

We will provide the initial training program at our headquarters or another location of our choice. Initial training will take place after Franchisee pays the Initial Franchisee Fee, but before Franchisee opens the Business for operation. We will provide this initial fifty-two (52) day training program without charge for Franchisee, which includes pre-opening and grand opening assistance. Training is provided without charge for a total of three (3) people, being the Franchisee, the Manager, and a key personnel no earlier than sixty (60) days prior to when the Franchisee anticipates opening the Business for operation. Franchisee will, however, be responsible for travel, accommodation, food, and other costs for all its attendees. Franchisee must attend and satisfactorily complete training within sixty (60) days that Franchisee anticipates opening. If any of the three (3) people fail to timely complete the initial training program to our satisfaction, Franchisee has the right to appoint a replacement to be trained by us at Franchisee's expense and if either the Franchisee or the Manager do not satisfactorily complete the training to our satisfaction, then we may terminate this Agreement as described in Section 23.C. Any person designated by Franchisee to replace a previously trained person must be trained by us within thirty (30) days of first employment, at Franchisee's cost as provided below. For a second or subsequent franchise, we will not be obligated to provide additional training to Franchisee.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee, their owners (if an entity), and the general manager must complete the entire required training program to Burros Fries's satisfaction within 60 days of the date the franchisee anticipates opening the business.

Burros Fries offers an initial 52-day training program that includes pre-opening and grand opening assistance. This training is provided without charge for up to three people: the franchisee, the manager, and a key personnel member. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of travel, accommodation, food, and other expenses for all attendees.

If any of the three people initially trained fail to complete the program satisfactorily, the franchisee has the right to appoint a replacement to be trained at the franchisee's expense. If either the franchisee or the manager does not satisfactorily complete the training, Burros Fries may terminate the Franchise Agreement. Any replacement must be trained within 30 days of first employment, also at the franchisee's cost. For a second or subsequent franchise, Burros Fries is not obligated to provide additional training to the franchisee.
