What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee needs to train a replacement General Manager, the replacement General Manager may attend the Burros Fries training program for a fee, contingent upon space availability. The current fee for this training is $300 per person per half day, as detailed in Section 20.A of the Franchise Agreement.

In addition to the training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, room and board, and food expenses for the replacement General Manager during the training period. Burros Fries retains the right to disapprove any replacement General Manager at their discretion.

This policy ensures that the General Manager is adequately trained to meet Burros Fries' standards, maintaining consistency across all franchise locations. However, it also represents an additional cost for the franchisee, especially if a replacement General Manager is needed frequently or if the training program extends over several days. Franchisees should factor in these potential training expenses when budgeting for ongoing operational costs.
