Can Burros Fries charge a fee for additional training?

We may, but are not obligated to, offer additional training resources to the Franchisee to be determined by us, for the operation, advertising and promotion of the Business which may include certification programs, seminars, workshops, product or service training programs, annual convention and information available through our website for the benefit of the Franchisee and the Franchisee's employees. We may charge a reasonable fee for additional training if deemed appropriate. Any and all travel, food,
and accommodations and other expenses incurred by the Franchisee or Franchisee's representatives or employees attending our training shall be paid by the Franchisee.
As part of the initial training program, we will provide Franchisee with: a written list of approved Products and Services Franchisee can offer in its Business; a written list of approved vendors and suppliers to lease and/or purchase products, supplies, kitchen equipment and services from; a written list of recipes including food preparation and presentation standards; a written list of cleaning standards and recommended procedures for hiring a professional laundry services; product knowledge and specifications, strategies for leasing and/or purchasing kitchen equipment, products and supplies; inventory management, kitchen equipment operations, operational standards and techniques in efficiencies, service standards, recommended hiring and training guidelines, safety procedures, merchandising, sales and promotional strategies, suggested pricing for Products and Services in addition to software programs as described in Section 20.I that may or may not have been developed by us (or our affiliates) and required in the operation of each Business. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to add, modify and change such training from time to time. Franchisee will be responsible for all costs associated with the administration of such changes.

Franchisees are responsible for covering all travel, food, accommodations, and other expenses incurred by themselves or their representatives or employees when attending additional training. Burros Fries also outlines what the initial training program will provide to the franchisee, including lists of approved products and services, vendors and suppliers, recipes, cleaning standards, and strategies for various operational aspects. Burros Fries reserves the right to add, modify, and change such training from time to time, with the franchisee responsible for all costs associated with these changes.
In addition to additional training, Burros Fries may conduct an annual conference, with a registration fee not exceeding $1,000 per person. Franchisees are responsible for all costs associated with attending the conference, such as travel, food, and accommodations. Burros Fries may also provide continuing education sessions with a registration charge of $300 per day per person, with franchisees responsible for all associated costs. The content of these sessions will cover various aspects of the franchise, including new products and services, recipes, updated lists of approved items, operational standards, technology developments, and marketing strategies.
