What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, Burros Fries has the authority to modify the approved products, supplies, kitchen equipment, vendors, and suppliers. Burros Fries may periodically and upon written notice, add to, modify, or change such approved items, vendors, and suppliers, and there is no limit to their right to do so. The franchisee is obligated to promptly accept and implement all such additions, modifications, and changes in the operation of their Burros Fries Business at their own expense.
Burros Fries also has the right to specify notices of Trademark registrations and copyrights that the franchisee must use. Franchisees must get approval from Burros Fries for any printed material bearing any of the Names or Marks, unless Burros Fries supplied the item. Burros Fries has sole discretion to approve or deny the franchisee's request within thirty (30) days of receipt of the franchisee's written request. If Burros Fries fails to respond within the thirty-day period, the request is deemed denied.
These stipulations grant Burros Fries significant control over brand standards and operational consistency. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to adapt to changes in required products, vendors, and marketing materials, potentially incurring additional costs. While this level of control helps maintain uniformity across all Burros Fries locations, franchisees have limited autonomy in these areas and must adhere to the franchisor's decisions.
