What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Burros Fries's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with training a replacement General Manager. The franchisee must train the replacement General Manager in accordance with Burros Fries's training program. Burros Fries retains the right to disapprove of the franchisee's choice of replacement General Manager.
The replacement General Manager can attend Burros Fries's training program for a fee, contingent upon space availability. Currently, this fee is $300 per person for each half-day of training, as detailed in Section 20.A of the Franchise Agreement.
The franchisee, its owners, and/or the General Manager are responsible for covering all costs related to travel, room and board, and food during the training period. This means that in addition to the training fee, the franchisee must also budget for these additional expenses when a replacement General Manager needs to be trained.
