What This Means (2024 FDD)
Based on the 2024 Burros Fries Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee includes the complete training program at the corporate headquarters. This suggests that new franchisees will receive their initial training at the Burros Fries corporate headquarters. The document specifies that the initial franchise fee covers the complete training program at the corporate headquarters.
While the FDD does not explicitly state where the annual conference will be held, it does mention that the initial training program takes place at the corporate headquarters. It's reasonable to infer that, at least initially, Burros Fries may leverage its existing corporate facilities for training purposes. This could be a cost-effective approach for the franchisor in the early stages of the franchise system.
To confirm the location of the annual conference, a prospective franchisee should directly ask Burros Fries about their plans for the annual conference, including the typical location, frequency, and whether attendance is mandatory. This information would provide a clearer picture of the ongoing support and training franchisees can expect.
