What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Burneys Sweets More FDD, the company may implement a loyalty program to facilitate advertising and competitive strategies. If Burneys Sweets More decides to implement a loyalty program, they reserve the right to require franchisees to participate. However, participation may not be uniform across all franchised locations.
The decision regarding which franchised locations participate, or are required to participate, in these loyalty programs is at Burneys Sweets More's discretion. These decisions are based on what Burneys Sweets More determines is best for the franchise system and its brand. This means that a franchisee may be required to participate in a loyalty program while other franchisees are not, or a franchisee may be allowed to participate while others are not.
This policy gives Burneys Sweets More flexibility in tailoring its marketing and competitive approaches. However, it also introduces a degree of uncertainty for franchisees, as their participation in loyalty programs is not guaranteed and can change based on the franchisor's strategic decisions. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the criteria and process by which Burneys Sweets More decides which locations will participate in such programs to better understand the potential impact on their business.
