What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, if Buns On Fire sends a representative to the franchisee's location for training, the franchisee is responsible for Buns On Fire's then-current training fee for any training conducted at the franchisee's location. This is in addition to reimbursing Buns On Fire for the expenses incurred by the representatives, including travel, lodging, and meals. This on-site training can occur either before the opening or after the opening of the Buns On Fire restaurant.
This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the direct costs of training, such as travel and accommodation for themselves and their managers, but also for potential training fees and expenses associated with on-site training provided by Buns On Fire representatives. The FDD does not specify the amount of the training fee.
It is important for prospective franchisees to clarify the amount of the current training fee, the typical expenses associated with the representatives' travel, lodging, and meals, and the circumstances under which Buns On Fire would provide on-site training. Understanding these costs upfront is crucial for accurate financial planning and assessing the overall investment required to start and operate a Buns On Fire franchise.
