What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buns On Fire's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buns On Fire will legally protect the Proprietary Marks and the System as part of the post-opening assistance they provide to franchisees.
Buns On Fire maintains control over all aspects of a franchisee's online business activities. This includes the right to designate, approve, control, or limit URLs, domain names, website addresses, metatags, links, keywords, e-mail addresses, bulletin boards, social media, chat rooms, and any other means of electronic identification used in connection with the Buns on Fire Restaurant business. All e-commerce activity must be conducted through the Corporate Website or a mobile application that Buns On Fire may develop. Franchisees are not permitted to offer or sell any Products over the internet.
To ensure consistency and quality, Buns On Fire maintains and controls all Social Media accounts associated with the Franchised Businesses. If franchisees are allowed Social Media Accounts, they must comply with Buns On Fire's Social Media Policy. Franchisees cannot operate a website through other electronic media that provides content in the areas of the business that Buns On Fire operates, even if the site does not mention Buns On Fire or its affiliates or contain any of its information or branding, without written consent.
