What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, the company is offering the opportunity to become a franchisee and develop and operate a Buns On Fire Restaurant. This franchise business focuses on selling premium burgers, beverages, and other cuisine. Franchisees will operate within a designated territory, utilizing Buns On Fire's proprietary system to serve customers premium food items developed for their menu. The products offered by the Franchise Business include burgers, chicken sandwiches, sliders, wings, bowls, bubble tea, and other beverages.
This means that as a Buns On Fire franchisee, you'll be running a fast-casual style restaurant that specializes in these specific food and beverage items. The FDD emphasizes that franchisees are not permitted to offer sub-franchises, meaning you cannot grant others the right to operate their own Buns On Fire locations under your franchise agreement.
Before opening a Buns On Fire franchise, individual franchisees must form a corporate entity, ensuring that its activities are exclusively dedicated to developing and operating the Franchise Business according to the Franchise Agreement. This requirement ensures that the franchisee's focus remains solely on the Buns On Fire business. The FDD also mentions that the restaurant and food service industry is heavily regulated, requiring compliance with various federal, state, and local laws, including health, sanitation, and employment regulations. Prospective franchisees should consider the costs and time associated with adhering to these regulations when evaluating the Buns On Fire franchise opportunity.
