Initial Training
Our operational training program consists of a total of approximately two (2) weeks of instruction concerning all aspects of the operation and management of the Franchise Business, including review and discussion of the Operations Manual and other detailed aspects of the operation of your business. The cost for training your management team (up to two (2) members) is included in the Initial Franchise Fee. If you request that we provide our initial training program to additional trainees, whether before your Franchise Business opens or while it is operating, you must pay our then-current training fee for each additional trainee. The training will take place at the Buns on Fire Restaurant location that we designate that is convenient for all parties. Our training program is mandatory and is conducted throughout the year on an "as-needed" basis. All training must be completed to our satisfaction. You must pay all expenses that you and your team incur while attending our training program and any refresher training program that we require, including travel, lodging, meals, and applicable wages. If you fail to complete our training program to our satisfaction, we have the right to terminate your Franchise Agreement without providing you a refund of the initial franchise fee.
The materials that we use in our initial training program include our Confidential Operations Manual and other instructional materials that we believe are beneficial to the training process.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buns On Fire's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial operational training program is approximately two weeks long. This training covers all aspects of operating and managing a Buns On Fire franchise, including a review of the Operations Manual and other detailed operational aspects. The cost of training for up to two members of the management team is included in the initial franchise fee.
If a franchisee wants to train additional team members, they must pay Buns On Fire's then-current training fee for each extra trainee. The training takes place at a Buns On Fire Restaurant location designated by the franchisor. This training program is mandatory and conducted throughout the year as needed, and it must be completed to the franchisor's satisfaction.
The franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred while attending the training program, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Failure to complete the training program to Buns On Fire's satisfaction can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement without a refund of the initial franchise fee. In addition to the in-person training, Buns On Fire also provides and requires video training prior to the initial training, which can be accessed at any point during or after the training.
