Where will the initial training program for a Buns On Fire franchise be conducted?
Buns_On_Fire Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Prior to opening the Franchised Business, at most two (2) managers, at least one of whom shall be a partner from the ownership group, shall attend Franchisor's initial training program, which shall be conducted at the Buns on Fire restaurant location that we designate as convenient for all parties, or at another location designated by Franchisor, and shall complete said training course to Franchisor's satisfaction.
All training must be completed to Franchisor's satisfaction.
If this Agreement is for Franchisee's second or subsequent Franchised Business, we may reduce at our sole discretion the number of managers required to complete training and/or not require a member of the ownership group to attend training, but in any event a trained and approved manager must be on duty at all times that your Franchised Business is open.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program will be held at either a Buns On Fire restaurant location designated as convenient by the franchisor or at another location that the franchisor designates.
Prior to opening a Buns On Fire franchise, at most two managers, with at least one being a partner from the ownership group, must attend and complete the initial training program to the franchisor's satisfaction. If a franchisee already owns a Buns On Fire franchise, the franchisor may reduce the number of managers required to complete the training or waive the requirement for a member of the ownership group to attend. However, a trained and approved manager must always be on duty when the franchise is open.
This initial training is a crucial step for franchisees to learn the Buns On Fire system and operational standards. The flexibility in training location (either at a designated restaurant or another site) suggests that Buns On Fire may adapt the training based on the needs of the franchisee or the availability of resources. The requirement for at least one owner or partner to attend ensures that the ownership is directly involved in understanding the Buns On Fire operational model.
