What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buns On Fire requires franchisees to obtain approval before using advertising and marketing materials from suppliers other than the franchisor. Specifically, franchisees must submit samples of any advertising, promotional, and marketing materials not prepared or previously approved by Buns On Fire for review. If written approval is not received within fifteen (15) days after Buns On Fire receives the materials, the materials are deemed disapproved, and the franchisee is prohibited from using them.

This policy allows Buns On Fire to maintain control over its brand image and ensure consistency in marketing efforts across all franchise locations. It also ensures that franchisees adhere to the brand's standards and guidelines.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they cannot independently source advertising or marketing materials without prior authorization from Buns On Fire. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in a breach of the franchise agreement. Therefore, franchisees must plan ahead and allow sufficient time for the approval process when developing their marketing strategies. It is also important to note that all advertising placement is at the franchisee's own discretion and cost.
