What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buns On Fire's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with any modifications the company makes to its written standards and specifications. Buns On Fire determines these standards and specifications in its sole discretion and will provide franchisees with written standards for restaurant premises layout, equipment, signs, decor, trade dress, and certain food and beverage items.

This requirement ensures uniformity and quality standards across all Buns On Fire Restaurant franchises. It means a franchisee must adapt their business to adhere to any changes Buns On Fire makes, which could involve updating equipment, changing the restaurant's decor, or altering food and beverage offerings.

The franchisee is also responsible for ensuring that all selected foods, beverages, and products continue to conform to Buns On Fire's established standards and specifications. This places an ongoing obligation on the franchisee to monitor and maintain compliance with the franchisor's requirements, even for items they source themselves. Failing to comply with these modifications could result in a breach of the franchise agreement.
