What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, if Buns On Fire were to allow franchisees to have social media accounts, franchisees must comply with Buns On Fire's Social Media Policy. Buns On Fire maintains and controls all Social Media accounts associated with the Franchised Businesses to ensure consistency and quality of the company's message.
Buns On Fire also states that franchisees will not establish a website or social media page for their Franchise Business, including social media accounts or pages, without prior consent. If Buns On Fire consents in writing to a franchisee advertising or using the Internet for their Franchise Business, the franchisee must supply Buns On Fire with the current usernames, passwords, credentials, and other account information used in connection with any accounts relating to any approved Internet usage of the Marks. Buns On Fire must also have co-administrative rights to all web pages.
Furthermore, Buns On Fire will provide franchisees with content for posting on Social Media pages, if they permit the franchisee to have a Social Media page. Franchisees may not make any social media posts without Buns On Fire's consent, and Buns On Fire must have administrator rights for all social media accounts associated with the Franchise Business. This level of control is common in franchising to maintain brand consistency and prevent franchisees from making unauthorized claims or misrepresentations.
