What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase certain items from suppliers designated by the franchisor. These items include equipment (if applicable), products and food supplies, containers, packaging supplies, paper goods, and other product service items used for preparing and serving the products.

The FDD states that franchisees must equip and maintain their Buns On Fire location according to the franchisor's strict specifications and standards. The franchisor also retains the right to test samples of products and supplies from the franchised business to ensure compliance with their standards and specifications.

While the FDD specifies that Buns On Fire franchisees must purchase from approved suppliers, it does not provide explicit criteria for how a supplier becomes an approved supplier. A prospective franchisee should ask the franchisor for more details about the supplier approval process, including the specific criteria and standards that suppliers must meet to become and remain an approved supplier for the Buns On Fire franchise system.
