What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for equipping and maintaining the Franchised Business in accordance with the strict specifications and standards set by Buns On Fire. This includes purchasing certain equipment, if applicable, as well as specific products, food supplies, containers, packaging, paper goods, and other product service items from suppliers designated by Buns On Fire.

This requirement ensures that all Buns On Fire locations maintain a consistent level of quality and operational standards. By mandating the use of approved suppliers and adherence to specific standards, Buns On Fire aims to protect its brand reputation and ensure customer satisfaction across all franchise locations.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they will have limited flexibility in choosing equipment and supplies. While this may reduce the ability to negotiate for lower prices, it also provides the benefit of knowing that the selected items meet Buns On Fire's standards. It is important for potential franchisees to understand the costs associated with these required purchases and factor them into their overall investment.

Furthermore, franchisees must keep the Franchised Business maintained according to Buns On Fire's standards. This suggests an ongoing obligation to ensure that equipment is in good working order and that the overall appearance and functionality of the business meet the franchisor's expectations.
