What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, if Buns On Fire sends a representative to the franchisee's location for pre-opening or post-opening training, the franchisee is responsible for several expenses. This on-site training lasts approximately 14 days.
Specifically, the franchisee must reimburse Buns On Fire for the expenses incurred by the representatives during this time. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the representative's travel, lodging, and meals. In addition to covering these out-of-pocket costs, the franchisee must also pay Buns On Fire's then-current training fee for any training conducted at the franchisee's location.
This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the direct costs of the training program itself, but also for the indirect costs associated with housing and feeding the Buns On Fire trainers. These costs can vary significantly depending on location and the duration of the training, so prospective franchisees should clarify the current training fees and typical expenses with Buns On Fire to accurately estimate these costs.
