What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests a consultant to assist with operations issues at their franchise, they must reimburse Buns On Fire for travel expenses incurred by the consultant.

In addition to travel expenses, the franchisee is also responsible for paying the then-current per diem training fee for the consulting assistance provided. This per diem fee is not specified in this section of the FDD, so a prospective franchisee should confirm the amount of this fee with Buns On Fire.

This reimbursement structure is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it ensures that the franchisee requesting the additional support bears the direct costs associated with providing it. It also incentivizes franchisees to utilize available resources and training materials before requesting on-site consulting, potentially reducing unnecessary expenses.
