What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buns On Fire, as part of the lease agreement, may receive sales reports and information about the franchised business directly from the lessor (landlord). Specifically, the lease can contain a provision where the lessor can disclose sales data from the premises to Buns On Fire upon their written request. This allows Buns On Fire to stay informed about the business's performance.
Additionally, the lessor is required to notify Buns On Fire of any defaults by the franchisee under the lease terms. Buns On Fire then has the option, but not the obligation, to cure any such default. This protects Buns On Fire's interest in maintaining a stable franchise network and ensures the location remains operational.
These lease provisions enable Buns On Fire to monitor the franchisee's business operations and financial standing, and to intervene if necessary to protect their brand and the interests of the franchise system. A prospective franchisee should be aware that Buns On Fire will have access to this information and the ability to take action based on it.
