What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buns On Fire Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee needs prior written approval from the Franchisor to modify or change their franchise location. The franchisee must make this request in writing.
To get approval, the Buns On Fire franchisee must be current on all financial obligations to the Franchisor, whether these obligations arise from the Franchise Agreement itself or any other agreement in place. Additionally, the franchisee must not be in default under the Franchise Agreement or any other agreement with the Franchisor.
If the request to change location is approved, the franchisee will be required to sign the Franchisor's then-current form of the Franchise Agreement, which may have different terms and conditions. The term of the new agreement may be equal to the remaining term of the original agreement. Unless the franchisor grants a longer term, the franchisee will not be required to pay a new Initial Franchise Fee. However, the franchisee will be required to pay a Relocation Fee of $2,500 upon execution of the new Franchise Agreement.
