What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a partial deferral of initial franchise fees is possible when purchasing multiple contiguous territories, and the franchisee is in the process of securing funding from a financial institution to cover the total initial franchise fees. In this case, Bumble Roofing may allow the franchisee to pay the fees in installments.
Specifically, the franchisee must pay the full initial franchise fee for the first territory, plus a minimum of $5,000 for each additional territory upon signing the franchise agreements. The remaining balance for the additional territories must be paid in full within 90 days of the franchise agreement's execution or by the date the franchisee receives funding, whichever comes first.
It's important to note that the initial payment is non-refundable. If the franchisee fails to pay the remaining balance of the total initial franchise fees within the specified timeframe, Bumble Roofing reserves the right to terminate the franchise agreements. This installment plan provides some flexibility for franchisees acquiring multiple territories while managing their financing.
