To maintain our standards of consistent, high-quality products, customer recognition, advertising support, value and uniformity in Roofing Business, we may require you to purchase or lease some or all Required Items per our specifications and standards. We also reserve the right to require you to purchase any Required Items only from our designated or approved suppliers. The term "suppliers," also includes vendors, manufacturers and distributors. We have also identified a number of preferred, but not required, suppliers for other Required Items. Except as disclosed in this Item 8, neither we nor an affiliate is currently the only designated or approved supplier of any Required Items. We reserve the right, however, at any time and at our discretion, to designate ourselves or one of our affiliates as the only designated or approved supplier, or one of several designated or approved suppliers, of any additional Required Items.

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the term "suppliers" includes vendors, manufacturers, and distributors. Bumble Roofing may require franchisees to purchase or lease certain items, termed "Required Items," according to their specifications and standards to maintain consistency and uniformity across the franchise system. These "Required Items" encompass a broad range of products and services, including equipment, tools, office supplies, vehicle, uniforms, inventory, forms, advertising materials, computer hardware and software, accounting systems, and bookkeeping services.
Bumble Roofing retains the right to designate or approve specific suppliers from whom franchisees must purchase these Required Items. While the FDD states that neither Bumble Roofing nor its affiliates are currently the only designated or approved supplier for any Required Items (with some exceptions), this could change at any time at Bumble Roofing's discretion. Bumble Roofing also identifies preferred, but not required, suppliers for other Required Items.
If a Bumble Roofing franchisee wishes to use a supplier or product not already on the approved list, they must submit samples and detailed information about the product and supplier to Bumble Roofing for evaluation. Bumble Roofing will then notify the franchisee of their approval or disapproval within 90 days. While there is currently no fee for this evaluation, Bumble Roofing reserves the right to charge a fee in the future, not exceeding $200 per request, and may also require reimbursement for evaluation costs. Bumble Roofing can also revoke approval of any supplier with 30 days' notice.
