What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the six-month period for the Opening Advertising campaign begins the month prior to opening the Roofing Business and extends for five months after opening. During this period, the franchisee must spend a minimum of $20,000 on advertising approved by Bumble Roofing.

This initial advertising expenditure is separate from ongoing individual advertising obligations. Bumble Roofing requires franchisees to use marketing materials provided in camera-ready form but allows franchisees to develop their own materials with prior written approval. The franchisor has 14 business days to respond to advertising material approval requests; failure to respond within that timeframe results in disapproval.

Bumble Roofing designates how the Opening Advertising funds should be allocated and spent, but franchisees are responsible for local advertising placement. This initial advertising campaign is a crucial part of launching the franchise and building brand awareness in the local territory.
