Bumble_Roofing Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We offer franchises for the operation of Roofing Businesses under the "BUMBLE ROOFING" service mark, and other trademarks, trade names, service marks and logos we periodically designate ("Bumble Roofing Marks"). A Roofing Business offers and sells a full offering of roofing related products and services including replacement and maintenance options for residential and commercial customers. The franchise is operated under a business format per a unique system, including our valuable know-how, information, trade secrets, methods, Operations Manual, standards, designs, methods of trademark usage, copyrights, sources and specifications, confidential electronic and other communications, methods of Internet usage, marketing programs, and research and development connected with the operation and promotion of Roofing Businesses ("System"). We have the right to change or otherwise modify the System at any time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company retains the right to modify its operating system at any time. This system encompasses various elements critical to the franchise's operation, including know-how, trade secrets, methods, the Operations Manual, standards, designs, trademark usage, copyrights, electronic communications, internet usage, marketing programs, and research and development.

This provision grants Bumble Roofing significant flexibility to adapt its business model, marketing strategies, and operational procedures as market conditions, technological advancements, or competitive pressures evolve. For a franchisee, this means that the specific methods and resources they initially learn and implement may be subject to change during the term of their franchise agreement.

While such modifications can be beneficial in keeping the franchise competitive and up-to-date, they also introduce an element of uncertainty. Franchisees must be prepared to adapt to new directives, potentially requiring additional training, investment in new equipment or technologies, and adjustments to their established business practices. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that the Bumble Roofing system they invest in today may not be identical to the system they operate in the future, and they should inquire about the frequency and nature of past system modifications to better assess the potential impact on their business.
