Does Bumble Roofing have the right to change the single-family household limits for Territories?

Bumble_Roofing Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We will grant one license to a franchisee for up to 100,000 single-family households in a designated geographical area ("Territory"). We will use the most recent single-family household and demographic information available in the U.S. Census Data, or other statistical sources of our choosing to determine the single-family household count and resulting Territory. We have the right to change, modify, or delete the single-family household limits or any other demographic factors considered when granting Territories. If you are granted a Territory that include more than 100,000 single-family households, then you will be required to pay an additional fee, as disclosed more fully in Item 5, for each additional single-family household in your Territory above 100,000.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumble Roofing's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumble Roofing retains the right to modify the criteria used to define a territory, including the single-family household limits. Bumble Roofing grants one license to a franchisee for a territory containing up to 100,000 single-family households, using data from the U.S. Census or other statistical sources.

Bumble Roofing explicitly states that it reserves the right to change, modify, or delete the single-family household limits or any other demographic factors considered when granting territories. This means that the number of households within a territory could change, potentially impacting the franchisee's market size and revenue potential.

If a franchisee is granted a territory that exceeds 100,000 single-family households, they will be required to pay an additional fee for each additional household above that threshold, as detailed in Item 5 of the FDD. This additional fee is an important consideration for prospective franchisees when evaluating the financial implications of their territory. Franchisees should carefully consider the potential impact of these changes on their business and discuss any concerns with Bumble Roofing before signing the Franchise Agreement.
