When will Bumble Roofing resign from a franchisee's board?

Bumble_Roofing Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

In the event we are required to sit on your board in order for you to obtain the requisite permits, registrations or licenses due to state laws that require an entity to have a certain amount of related experience to obtain the applicable permits, registrations, or licenses, we will not acquire any ownership or voting rights on the board. However, as a condition to sitting on your board, we will require you to use a third-party professional services organization that will be responsible for handling your payroll and to assist you with your obligations to comply with various state employment law. Once you obtain your own permits, registrations, and licenses, we will resign from your board.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumble Roofing Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumble Roofing may be required to sit on a franchisee's board to help them obtain the necessary permits, registrations, or licenses if state laws mandate a certain level of related experience for entities seeking these credentials. This involvement does not grant Bumble Roofing any ownership or voting rights on the board.

As a condition of Bumble Roofing's board membership, the franchisee will be required to use a third-party professional services organization to manage payroll and assist with compliance regarding state employment law. This measure ensures that the franchisee adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements during the initial phase of operation.

Bumble Roofing will resign from the franchisee's board once the franchisee independently secures all the required permits, registrations, and licenses. This transition allows the franchisee to assume full control of their business operations, while still benefiting from the Bumble Roofing franchise system and support.
